Recover Zine is a comic created by the artist/designer ©OMA$. Recover Zine’s mission is to provide addicts/alcoholics with entertaining recovery themed media (free of charge).
Recover Zine is provided in person at areas of recovery upon agreement to allow distribution. Each issue of Recover Zine is now also available here online!
Anyone who would like to print and staple together some Recover Zines to distribute them (for free) is encouraged to do so! Just remember that in order to hand out Recover Zines at 12 step meetings there must first be approval by that meeting’s group conscious.
Recover Zine started March 8, 2023 when ©OMA$ decided to put some service work in through a copier at a local treatment center here in Ann Arbor, MI. Recover Zine has since grown to build an expansive fan base in the recovery community.
Recover Zine is not an AA nor NA approved literature. Recover Zine serves as it’s own entity and is owned by QuinnTemporary Art LLC.
